Installation

Chloé Viane-Collins (B)

Mrs. Viane-Collins is next to an artist also an animal rights activist.
From all domestic animals, the goose is probably the creature that gets to know best the darkest side of us humans. It is a fact that the best feathers are harvested on living animals and the forced feeding, to get the liver swollen, provides us with the delicatessen product Fois-Gras. Mrs, Viane-Collins does not like to explain her artwork too much. “Explaining things does not work that well, they get easily forgotten”, says Mrs. Viane-Collins. “When you come to realize something by your own, it brings changes and new dimensions in your life. Therefor it is far more the better to let people think for themselves. Inform yourself about your comfort because everything has a dark side too. It is a universal law. For every joy there is a sorrow. This Installation exists out of two pieces; a sculpture and a hanging piece, representing this duality.
